Welcome to the Neurodiversity Community Center After School Program!

This program is for all kids from grades K-12 (or analogous ages for homeschoolers/unschoolers). Our fall 2024 program runs on Monday, Tuesday with two sessions each day: 4:00pm-5:00pm & 5:15pm-6:15pm. You can sign up for the earlier session, the later session, or both sessions - and for any day(s). Below you’ll see a different “sign up” button for each day.

We are also now offering one time drop- in sessions. Please sign up for a one-time drop-in session 24 hours in advance to help us with planning the appropriate materials :)

Activities

During each session, there will be activities offered in the art room, the game room, and the kitchen (see below for the schedule of activities). During each session, participants can choose which activity to do, subject to space limitations. Participants can even do multiple activities during a session, except for those activities highlighted in yellow - for those, participants can only start the activity at the beginning of the session. They also are welcome to do self-directed activities in the living room (e.g., read a book, listen to music, chat with friends, zone out, whatever).

Supervision

Note: We are not a licensed drop-off site, meaning that a responsible adult for each child must remain on the property at all times. Whether that means staying next to the child or being available in another room will depend on the specific needs of each child during each session. Please contact us if you’d like to discuss what this might look like for your child.

Schedule

The fall program meets for 18 weeks, from the week of August 19 through the week of December 16, except for the following exceptions:

September 2: No sessions (Labor Day)
October 31: No regular sessions. Instead, everyone is welcome to join us for Halloween fun.
November 25-28: No sessions (Thanksgiving week)
